AN ALL WOMEN BAND FOR ALL OCCASIONS
At home in Providence, Utah, serving Logan and Cache Valley.

HEATHER is originally from Woods Cross, Utah and her musical journey took root in Cache Valley in 1997. She received her BS in Music Therapy at Utah State University in 2001. She owns and operates Overlymusical LLC, and loves serving the elderly, Hospice patients, adults with addiction as well as children, teens and adults with special needs. Heather and her husband Devin live in Smithfield and are the parents of four awesome children. Heather Overly joined the band in 2021 and loves singing and playing the guitar.
TRUDY, originally a Young from Young Ward, grew up in American Fork. After some schooling and a mission, she saw the error of her ways and moved back to her roots to finish up a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Recreation Therapy and has been blessed to stick around and now makes her home in Smithfield. Go Aggies! Trudy loves time with family—her newlywed husband Blake at the top of the list, her amazing daughter Baylee a close second, and the best 9 siblings with their tribes and in-laws to round out the family network. She also loves gathering friends at dinner or shows or even at dinner shows! Her professional life is in an insurance office, and she likes to think of herself as a superhero to help her sleep at night. The empty nester life has lent space to dabbling in songwriting and poetry, so fingers crossed someday you will recognize her name on something that will change your life! Much to be grateful for and she is.
JACKIE was raised just up north in Grace, Idaho. She loves taking trips to her old stomping grounds just because it is so beautiful. Jackie and Mike, her husband, started their life in Cache Valley 40 years ago. After spending time in Laramie, Wyoming and Cedar City, Utah they landed back in Hyde Park. She loves Cache Valley. They raised six children and so far it's paying off with 12 grandchildren. Her favorite thing is hanging out with her kids and grandbabies. Jackie taught music for fifteen years at Park and White Pine Elementary in Richmond, Utah. She loved her music students and loves seeing them around town! She loves being in a band and having the opportunity of creating music and memories.

KATHI was locally grown, in Logan, Utah. After raising three children in Idaho, Arizona and California she was drawn back home where she had a career in the Judicial system. Kathi believes in growing your own best friends referring to her seven grand children. She has played in the Hot Flashes, Mood Swings and Bleached Blondes bands. Kathi and her husband Jon currently live in North Logan. She claims to be solar powered, is good at eating leftovers and collects scars. Playing music with Localgrown is her Happy Place and proof that you are never too old to live your dream.
KAREN was born and raised in Logan alongside twin sister and bass player, Kathi. She loves everything about being a local Cache Valley-ite —biking the mountains, tubing the rivers, pickling with friends (on the court), and cheering on the Aggies. Teaching children swimming skills for over 3 decades has been a highlight in her life as well as the opportunity to dabble in percussion with 4 ladies bands and a bluegrass group over the past 20+ years. She and her husband (Sound Man) Wayne raised their 5 children in Providence and life is super filled with 22 grands.

WAYNE is the 10th of 11 children, raised in Logan and Juniper, Idaho on the family dry farm. He retired from Campbell Scientific after 38 years and now tries to sneak out to his farm whenever possible. He plays the roll of “Sound Man” for the ladies. No one can coil a cable quite like Wayne.
